HCN Insurance Agent Partner FAQ

What exactly is Home Claim Network?

We are a Texas-based homeowner advocacy firm who reopen denied and underpaid insurance claims or fight to help people avoid them all together. We’ve been doing it for over 30 years with a 97%+ success rate. We are not a roofing company, not a PA firm, and not a storm chaser. We are the team that gets called when the insurance company says no — and we never stop fighting for you or your client.

What does this actually look like for my business?

Your client files a claim. The carrier denies it or lowballs them. Instead of losing that client forever, you say: “I have a specific team of experts built specifically for this purpose, I will have them reach out to you, DO NOT MISS THE CALL” We reopen the claim, get their damage not only repaired but upgrade, and keep them informed every step of the process. Your client doesn’t just stay — they become your most vocal advocate. You did nothing except make one phone call. You’re the hero.

What does it cost me?

Nothing. Zero. Zilch, same goes for your client

Why would my clients blame me for a carrier’s decision?

Because you’re the face of the relationship. When a claim gets denied, the client doesn’t think “the carrier failed me” — they think “my agent didn’t set me up right.” Right or wrong, that’s the reality. That perception costs agents 20–30% of their book of business every year. We eliminate the problem before it becomes a loss. Which leads to nothing but TDI complaints and E&O expenses soaring through the heavens. You need a buffer, you need a degree of separation. You need Home Claim Network.

Won’t this put me at odds with my carriers?

No — and this is important. Carriers prefer a resolved claim over a lawsuit, a state complaint, or a cancelled policy. But more importantly, your carrier will never know you had anything to do with fighting the case in the first place. Having a decisive outcome is better for them too. This partnership doesn’t threaten your carrier relationships — it quietly protects them.

What if I already have a good relationship with my clients — do I really need this?

Strong relationships are exactly why you need it. One denied claim, handled badly, can undo years of goodwill. We’re not a replacement for your relationship — we’re the safety net that makes sure nothing destroys it.

Will this confuse my clients or make them distrust their coverage?

Never, we can become an added included service, a premium service for some of your plans, or any other differentiator that will help you win. The overwhelming majority of your clients will never need us — and they’ll never know we exist. But when that one claim falls apart, you have a solution that nobody else in your market can offer. That’s not confusing. That’s confidence.

How does this affect my reputation with carriers?

It Protects it, you have an extra layer of anonymity, as well as positive reviews, referrals and true growth, what more could you ask for?

What about my E&O exposure?

This reduces your exposure exponentially. Especially at a broker level. We make it clear that Home Claim Network was the one fighting the claim, when we win, we point to you as the hero, and if we ever lose, we explain to your client why it failed, using nothing but facts and documentation, ensuring you will never be held responsible for negative claim outcomes ever again.

I sell mostly basic policies — how does this help me?

Your single biggest obstacle to selling premium policies is the objection: “Insurance never pays out anyway.” When you partner with HCN, you can say: “If your claim ever gets denied, I have a team with a 97% success rate that reopens it — at no cost to you.” That objection disappears. The commission difference between a basic and premium policy runs roughly $1,000. Sell ten more premium policies a year because you can now back up the promise — that’s $10,000 you weren’t making before.

What do you get out of this?

We gain access to homeowners at the exact moment they need us most — through an agent they already trust. That’s it. When clients come to us without an agent, we refer them to our partners. The agents who showed up. We have no interest in poaching your clients or your relationships. We make money when claims get won. That’s the  It gives you a marketing hook nobody else in your market has. “Buy from me and get free access to claim specialists with a 97% success rate — if anything ever goes wrong.” That’s a reason to call you that has nothing to do with price. Use it in ads, in referral conversations, in your email signature. It costs you nothing and makes every marketing dollar you spend cut deeper than your competition. It also provides overly only incentive we have.

How does this help me grow my client base?

happy customers happy to share with all of Google that when things got tough, you never stopped fighting for them. And the agents who didn’t call us, and lost those clients as a result, will inevitably be asking who it is that WE trust. The more you give, the more we give. We all grow.

How much time does this actually take from me?

The question is not how much time will you lose, its how much time will you gain. How many hours a week will you get back when you have a designated client coordinator keeping your clients informed a strict schedule. As far as time youll need to spend? Reading this, in order to say Two words. That’s it. “Call HCN.” We handle every piece of the process — documentation, negotiations, client updates, resolution. You don’t sit in on calls. You don’t manage timelines. You make one referral and get back to selling. The five to ten hours a month most agents waste on claim drama they can’t resolve?

What if a client comes back and blames me for recommending you and it didn’t work out?

We have a 97% success rate and we only take cases we believe we can win. If we decline a case, we tell the client honestly — and that transparency protects your reputation. But more importantly: a client who watches you fight for them, even in a difficult situation, is a client who respects you. The client happy to REFER YOU. The agents who lose clients are the ones who shrug and say “there’s nothing I can do.”

FAQS FOR CONTRACTORS AND ROOFERS

1. How does the contractor partnership work?

Send us denied or lowballed claims. We reassess with drones and licensed adjusters, negotiate with insurance companies using legal backing, and when the claim is approved, you get the project at fair market pricing.

2. What if the insurance company still denies the claim after you get involved?

With our 90% success rate, denials are rare. But if we can’t get the claim approved, you haven’t damaged your customer relationship or wasted time fighting the insurance company yourself.

3. How long does the claim process take?

Most claims are resolved within 30-60 days. If insurance companies choose to be difficult it can take a little longer. We handle all communication with the insurance company, so you can focus on your business while we fight for approval.

4. Do I need to be licensed and insured to partner with you?

Yes. We only work with licensed, insured contractors who meet industry standards. This protects both you and the homeowner throughout the project.

5. What types of projects qualify?

Any property damage claim that’s been denied or lowballed by insurance companies – roofing, water damage, fire restoration, storm damage, plumbing emergencies, and more.

6. How do I get paid for plumber referrals?

Submit the homeowner’s info after your emergency service call. When they sign with us, you receive $250. No caps, no limits, just consistent referral income.
